Tender Bridges Advisory Council
On October 23, 2008, the long standing and highly successful TENDER BRIDGES coalition took the form of a BCIU Advisory Council. The Council is co-facilitated by Marianne Chisesi, Supervisor, Early Childhood, and Eddie Frasca-Stuart, Director, Staff and Program Development. The Council's goal is to provide a venue where early care and educational professionals and elementary principals and teachers gather around topics of mutual interest related to the education of young children and the importance of transition to kindergarten.
The Council's work is based on five years of collaboration among Bucks County's Quality Child Care Coalition for Early Care and Education, the Bucks County Intermediate Unit, United Way Success by 6, Headstart, Bucks County preschools and day-cares, Bucks County school districts, Bucks County non-public schools, higher education, and parents.
