Safari Live

SAFARI Montage® Live! lets teachers connect with students like never before, at their desktops or laptops via the Internet. This simple Web-based, video-conferencing tool becomes an easy solution for providing school-to-school distance education, supporting distance education for homebound students, disseminating professional development to teachers in their schools or homes and promoting the use of guest speakers from remote locations. Its unique feature set offers the ability to customize many settings to optimize each video conferencing scenario, including number of participants, bandwidth and function. Start a meeting with a single click or send out email invitations via the integrated scheduling system.

Text Chat: Allow participants to text chat on screen during the conference.
Live Polling: Get feedback on the issue at hand by conducting an online live poll.
View & Share Files: By uploading files to the Fileshare window, a teacher may open several image file types (.jpg, .gif, .png, .swf) as well as documents like PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Adobe PDF in the content viewer, allowing students to download files to their desktop.
Include Web resources, which can then be “pushed” — or opened remotely by the teacher — onto the students’ desktops.
The Screen Sharing feature allows a teacher’s active computer desktop to be viewed within the Content Viewer window for all attendees to see.
