The Math & Science Collaborative is now planning professional development for the 2010-2011 school year. Successful workshops in the past have been facilitated by experienced math and science educators. Often, their workshops were first presented in their own districts with great success.
Workshop Specifics:
Unless you have been pre-approved for a full-day proposal, all workshops are held after school 4:30-8:00 PM. If you take a 1/2 hour dinner break (Dinner is provided for everyone), that leaves you with three hours of professional development time.
Workshops must be focused on supporting math and/ or science. Technology, reading, and writing topics to support math and science are always welcome.
Workshops are scheduled in the order that proposals are received.
