The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) is no longer accepting any paper applications. Everything is now being entered, approved and tracked in the Teacher Information Management System (TIMS) allows the exchange of data among several existing applications currently used by PDE to collect and manage data related to professional educators.

The process for applying for your Level II Teaching Certification is:

1. Visit PDE's website and create an account with TIMS

2. Apply for a new credential (directions can be found by clicking here)

3. Print the provided cover sheet and mail in and and all requested information to PDE
