Student Violence Prevention Programs
A wide range of violence prevention programs is offered to students in grades K - 12 in both public and non-public schools. The Prevention Specialist collaborates with the school principal or faculty members to identify specific needs and appropriate grade levels for the prevention programs.
A sampling of the student programs include:
Tolerance/Diversity - A training tailored to meet the diverse population of your school may entail a blend of interactive curriculum, discussion and media. Content may encompass discussions of celebrating diversity, acknowledging personal biases, identifying stereotypes/ groups within your school and how they contribute to bullying and acts of violence.
BullyingPrevention - Bullying programs for studentsencompass a blend of interactive content and discussion to help studentsrecognize the prevalence and types of bullying, the important role of thebystander, why bullying contributes to violence and how students can play a vitalrole in maintaining a bully free environment.

Staff Training on Violence Prevention Programs: Prevention Specialistswithin the Intermediate Unit are available to provide technical support,assistance and in-service training to administrators, teachers, and supportstaff on a wide variety of violence prevention topics. The Specialists areavailable for half day, full day or after school sessions.
