    The Bucks County Schools Intermediate Unit is governed by a board of thirteen members who serve three-year terms. Board members are elected from among the public school directors of school districts within Bucks County. The executive director is the chief school officer of the Intermediate Unit.

  • Bucks County IU Initiatives for 2012-2013

    The Initiatives for our IU this year have been developed by many stakeholders. This past summer, we received input from our District Staff Members in all thirteen Bucks County School Districts and our Vocational-Technical Schools, our IU School Board Members, our Bucks County Superintendents and most importantly our IU Staff.   • BCIU Launches New Online Learning Initiative

    The Bucks County Intermediate Unit #22 and the Quakertown Community School District are excited to announce Bridges Virtual Education Services, a new online learning partnership that will soon bring a variety of high quality cyber options to the students and school districts of Bucks County. Both organizations understand the importance that online learning now plays in public schooling and have partnered to provide solutions for a wide variety of needs, including remediation, enrichment, home-bound instruction, credit recovery, and hard-to-fill courses.
