Bucks County Intermediate Unit Education Foundation Speakers Series



Each year, the Bucks County Schools Intermediate Unit brings nationally known speakers to Bucks County.  One way in which this is accomplished is through the annual Speakers Series.  This series provides meaningful, ongoing professional learning opportunities to the educators, parents, and students of Bucks County and beyond.

The annual Speakers Series is planned through the Bucks County Intermediate Unit Education Foundation.  Proceeds are applied directly toward teacher grants to support the work of special education teachers.

JJCultural Intelligence:  Education in an Adaptive Environment - November 19, 2008  Keynote: Jennifer James

Many of you were able to enjoy Jennifer James" presentation, "Cultural Intelligence: Education in an Adaptive Environment," on November 19. In order to make Dr. James" thought-provoking presentation and her responses to questions accessible to all Bucks County educators, the Bucks County Intermediate Unit has collaborated with students from Middle Bucks Institute of Technology in the production of 5 video segments from her keynote address in Langhorne, PA.
