Interlibrary Loan and Access Pennsylvania
The BCIU22 Professional Library participates in interlibrary loan throughout the state of Pennsylvania. This allows library staff to provide its patrons with access to books that BCIU22 does not have in its collection.
The Access Pennsylvania Database is available at http://accesspa.org. If you need assistance with interlibrary loan through BCIU22, please contact Joe at firstname.lastname@example.org or at (215)348-2940 x1603.
More about Access PA
The Access Pennsylvania Database, a project of the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Office of Commonwealth Libraries, was started in 1985 as a way to provide a union catalog across the State of Pennsylvania. It was the first and remains the largest statewide union catalog that include the holdings of all types of libraries. This project represents a coordinated effort to facilitate resource sharing among libraries throughout the Commonwealth via the World Wide Web.
The Database contains approximately 20.8 million titles and over 74.3 million items.
BucksLinks Regional GroupBucksLinks is the Bucks County Regional Group of libraries participating in the Access Pennsylvania Database Project. BucksLinks is composed of one hundred seventeen (118) elementary, middle/junior, and senior high school libraries, as well as the libraries of the Bucks County Community College and the Bucks Country Intermediate Unit Professional Library. These libraries share their resources among the regional group members and throughout the state of Pennsylvania.
