Advisory Councils & Committees


The IMT Department facilitates multiple countywide Advisory Councils and committees that consist of leadership personnel from our local constituent school districts. The councils serve as liaisons between their home district, the county's other districts, and the Intermediate Unit. Each council meets regularly at the Intermediate Unit or at a local district.
  • Instructional Materials & Research Services Council- The Instructional Materials and Research Services Advisory Council meets several times per year to discuss current issues affecting the IMRS Department at the IU, libraries, research, and technology in general. The Council is composed of representatives, primarily librarians, of the thirteen school districts. Their charge is to act as liaisons for communication, materials distribution, and information to their districts.   • Technology Director's Advisory Council- This council meets to discuss, local, regional, and statewide issues related to technology and its input on education. Representatives from the 16 constituent districts and CTCs actively share resources and best practices, collaborate on projects and work towards advancing technology capacity across the county.   • Technology Staff Developer's/ 21st Century Teaching and Learning Coaches (CFF) Advisory Council- This group is comprised of representatives from the thirteen school districts who are responsible for staff development and coaching support in technology integration. They discuss issues pertaining to the integration of technology, improving staff development, and emerging technologies.
