The Katherine G. Ryan County Scholarship Fund was established in 1981 in the will of the late Helen Lydia Ryan, who resided in Doylestown, PA. It was her wish to have a memorial to her mother, the late Mrs. William C. Ryan, (Katherine G. Ryan) who was a teacher in the Doylestown schools during the late 1800's.

 

The Committee to select recipients for the scholarship consists of the Superintendent of Central Bucks School District, the Executive Director of Bucks County Intermediate Unit #22, and the President of the Bucks County Federation of Women's Clubs.
