~~I am excited to be in my fifth year as an Itinerant Teacher in the Early Intervention Program but my 30th year with Bucks County Intermediate Unit. My first 25 years were spent teaching in IU Emotional Support classrooms. My education started at Bucks County Community College and transferred to Gwynedd-Mercy College. I hold a BS in Special and Elementary Education and an MS in School Guidance Counseling, both from GMC. Parents are busy people and I can relate to busy schedules! I have three children and live on a farm with lots of animals. My three children believe that I “play with kids all day and get paid for it!” Even though that may be true, my mission is to always work collaboratively with parents and the preschool teaching staff, follow the IEP goals, and prepare children for the next steps in their development. In my spare time I enjoy traveling with my family whether on vacation, to sports events, or local community activities. I'm actively involved with my daughter in the Arthritis Foundation and I'm the Vice President of the Band Boosters with my son's marching band. My biggest challenge each day seems to be getting enough time on the phone to speak to parents. Since I travel many hours during the week, I like to use the wonderful world of email as much as possible. I’m a night owl and can always answer questions without nighttime interruptions!
