WHAT WE'RE ABOUT...

We want to make our world a better place, one SMYLE at a time! Together with our five fabulous students and almsot 50 volunteers, we make and sell items in our classroom.

We use our profits from the items we make in our classroom to purchase gifts at Christmastime for families who need some Holiday cheer! We have "adopted" two little boys, a little girl whose daddy has terminal cancer, a little girl whose father serves overseas in the military and a family enduring two serious surgeries. We have also donated money to our local Relay for Life team and a South family. We also purchased garden supplies for the Philadelphia Veterans Hospital, delivered them and visited with the Veterans. SMYLE has sewn and donated blankets for the Montgomery SPCA.  We have begun to involve ourselves in community activities as well such as participating in the Penn South Mother's Market selling our jars and volunteering at Penn Foundation's Family Day working the children's craft tables. We have also "adopted" a young Marine from the Quakertown area. We send him letters and packages to thank him for all he does for our country. He even came to visit us...check him out under "a very special person"!
