SERVICES PROVIDED BY SCHOOL DISTRICTS TO NONPUBLIC SCHOOLS
Transportation (1972)
Act 372 authorizes any
school district to provide free transportation to any resident pupil to
and from school provided that such school is located not more than 10
miles outside the district boundaries by the nearest public highway.
Health Services
Section 1402 of the School Code of Pennsylvania requires that school
districts provide health services to children of school age that includes a vision test, hearing test, a measurement of height and
weight, a tuberculosis test and such other medical tests as the State
Advisory Health Board deems advisable.
