Office of Communications

The Office of Communications is an in-house marketing, public relations, and community relations resource.
Its primary purposes are:

  • The Office of Communications is the direct link for information to all IU Employees.

  • Coordinates all IU Employee Events.

  • Distributes publications such as the “Bucks County Schools Directory” and the “Report to the Community.”

  • Maintains liaison with local Chambers of Commerce, Business/Industry groups, and other county organizations.

  • Information about education in Bucks County is disseminated to the local press on a regular basis.

  • Inquiries from the general public are addressed.

  • Provides accurate and timely information to citizens.

  •  Encourages community involvement through systematic partnership and volunteer programs.

{schoolhouse} 2010 “Educator In The Workplace”

Twenty (20) summer intern slots are available for the “Educator in the Workplace” Program sponsored by the Bucks County Intermediate Unit (BCIU) and the Bucks County Workforce Investment Board (WIB).

Educators will participate in the program during the summer of 2010. The internship must take place between June 21 and September 3, 2010. The opportunity is open to all K-12 teachers and Guidance Counselors.
