Early Intervention Service for children birth to 3 years old are administered through the Bucks County Department of Mental Health/Mental Retardation. If you have concerns about how your infant or toddler is growing and learning, the first step is to call an Early Intervention Service Coordinator at the Base Service Unit in your area listed below. The Early Intervention Coordinator will assist you in the process to determine whether the child is eligible for early intervention. If you are not sure which Base Service Unit to contact, call the County Early Intervention Coordinator at 215-442-0760.

Early Intervention Services for children ages birth to 3 years old are provided through the Penn Foundation (Upper Bucks region), Lenape Valley Foundation (Central Bucks region) and Northwestern Human Services (Lower Bucks region). For further information, please refer to the district in which you reside, and contact the corresponding agency.
