Purchasing DepartmentThe Purchasing Department of the Bucks County Intermediate Unit handles purchases for all IU employees both in house & field staff. Orders are processed in a timely manner and the IU purchasing staff strive to purchase the best products at the best price available. The IU and its member districts utilize a quoting process for items between $3, 000 and $9,999. Items costing over $10,000 are subject to a mandated bidding process.
